At some point during your next trip to LEGOLAND^® California, I can wager that your dogs will be barkin’ and your tummy a grumblin’. Happens to me every time just about mid-way through the day, and my best advice for when that occurs? The UPPER DECK™ Sports Cafe in the Imagination Zone. Not only can you take a load off, enjoy a few moments of quiet time, and check out life-size LEGO models, like the the Padre Friar, but also your kiddos can head to the back room and occupy themselves at the LEGO play tables while you order and wait for your food. Win-Win!

And don’t even get me started on the yummy food: Carne Asada Steak Nachos—‘nuff said. My other favorite is their grilled chicken salad (I used to order it at least once a week when I worked there) and if you or your kids have any dietary restrictions they can accommodate you with Gluten Free, Soy Free, Vegan & Veggie options. For the kids there is a miniature buffet bar, just the perfect height for the little ones, complete with burgers, dogs, mac n' cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches, oh and some broccoli for those progressive eaters (the buffet is available Memorial Day thru Labor Day and during peak attendance periods).

So be sure to check out the Sports Cafe on your next trip to the Park; but first heed these words to the wise: ride the BIONICLE^® Blaster located right outside the Sports Cafe, BEFORE going in to eat as opposed to after. Just trust me on this one.
