October is around the corner, which means it’s time to dress up our kiddos and party! Every Saturday night in October, LEGOLAND® California hosts a wicked fun party for the whole family called Brick-or-Treat Party Nights. My entire family looks forward to it all year and this year my kids are really gonna flip because LEGOLAND has added fireworks to the agenda.

INSIDER TIP:
•    Best viewing for the fireworks is in Castle Hill or Miniland.

The festivities take place from 5:00pm-9:00pm in the specially designated areas in the Park including, The Imagination Zone, Land of Adventure, and Miniland, but most of the action takes place in Castle Hill. Spooks on stilts, boo-gie-ing witches and a cast of zany characters on the Castle Hill stage, all make this Halloween celebration the best of its kind. I couldn’t get my kids off the Hubble Bubble Dance Party Stage last year and I have a feeling this year won’t be any different, especially if they play Party Rock Anthem (do your kids love that song as much as mine?).

A highlight of Brick-or-Treat is always the Brick-or-Treat Trail, which consists of seven Halloween themed candy/treat stations. Parents, don’t worry about too much sugar in the goodie bags because LEGOLAND does a great job of stocking the treat stations with healthy snacks and a few surprises along the way, too.

INSIDER TIPS:
•    There are two trails so if there is a long line at the one in Castle Hill, be sure to check out the second trail on the Model Shop Overlook. They are identical trails so you won’t miss out on anything. You can only visit one of the trails per day.
•    The trails are open from 12-4 on both Saturday and Sunday as well as in the evenings on Saturday, so to avoid the nighttime rush, you might want jam through the trail during the day.
•    There is a bonus treat station at SEA LIFE Aquarium, plus underwater pumpkin carving and a spooky creatures display, so be sure to check out SEA LIFE too.

One last highlight of Brick-or-Treat to mention is the costume contest that takes place on the Castle Hill stage. In previous years my kids have never participated in the contest, but I might be entering them this year in their super hero costumes. So who’s up for a friendly costume challenge? Game on!

•    INSIDER TIP:
This year there is a category for best STAR WARS™ themed costume. Since this is a new category there probably won’t be as many entries as the other categories so this might be a great one to consider when selecting costumes. The first place price package is a LEGOLAND gift basket and four Resort Membership Passes to LEGOLAND. WOW! That’s worth putting some thought into the costume. Hope to see you all there!

Brick regards,
Model Mom Mary
