Since my kiddos are still pretty young, I often write about the attractions and rides that are geared for the little ones, but this is an equal opportunity blog, so here is my list of . . .
Top 10 Things to Do When You’re 10:
- LEGO® Technic Coaster - Your thrill-seeking kiddos will want to ride this ride over, and over, and over again.
- AQUAZONE Wave Racer - Your 10+ year old, who most certainly has a vendetta out against a sibling, will love this ride. A hefty spray with these water soakers is a perfect source for revenge.
- XBOX Family Game Space - Video games and air conditioning. ‘Nuff said.
- The Dragon Coaster - Another coaster with twists and turns any ten year old will flip for.
- Coastersaurus - Even though this is a smaller coaster made for coaster-riding-newbies, bigger kids love it too, especially if they have a thing for dinosaurs.
- The Knights’ Tournament - Kids can control the intensity of this ride and the brave older kids will typically live on Level 3.
- LEGO Clubhouse - An indoor attraction where kids can hop on computers and play the first ever MMOG (Massively Multilevel Online Game) called LEGO Universe. Oh, and parents, it’s air conditioned so it’s a great treat for you too!
- Granny Apple Fries - Yes, I’m talking about these mouth-watering nuggets of goodness yet again. Your teen, tween or toddler are sure to love this treat!
- LEGOLAND Water Park - From the ages of 9-15, my favorite type of amusement parks were water parks. Any ten year old will have a blast at the Water Park.
- Miniland U.S.A. - Kids of all ages love Miniland. It is the heart of the Park and by far the most popular. The older kids love it because they can see some of the places that they have either visited with family, or learned about in school. And don’t miss STAR WARS Miniland, which really needs no further explanation.
